Frequently asked questions

Are all your cakes eggless?
Yes — absolutely every cake we make is 100% eggless. This is not a special option or an add-on, it is our standard. We believe great cake shouldn't exclude anyone from celebrating.
How do I place an order?
You can place an order through three channels: (1) Fill our Custom Order Form on this website, (2) Message us on WhatsApp, or (3) Email us at sales@thecakewheel.com. For standard cakes, WhatsApp is the fastest. For detailed custom cakes, use the form or email.
How much advance notice do you need?
Standard cakes are ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Custom decorated cakes need 2 hours. Fondant, themed, and wedding cakes require a minimum of 3 days advance notice so we can source the right materials and dedicate the time to your design.
Is delivery really free? What are the conditions?
Yes, delivery is completely free within a 5 km radius of our kitchen in Thanisandra. For locations between 5–15 km, we charge ₹15/km. Beyond 15 km, we use Porter or Dunzo for safe delivery (third-party charges apply). Self-pickup is always free.
Do you do corporate or bulk orders?
Yes! We handle office celebrations, corporate gifting, and bulk orders. Please email us at sales@thecakewheel.com with your requirements — quantity, date, and design — and we'll put together a special quote for you.
How do I pay?
We accept UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.) and bank transfer. For custom and large orders, we require a 50% advance payment to confirm and start your cake. The remaining balance is collected at delivery or pickup.
Can I make changes after I order?
Minor changes like cake message corrections or delivery time adjustments can usually be accommodated if you contact us early. Design changes on fondant or themed cakes may not be possible once work has started. Please message us as soon as possible if you need to modify your order.
How should I store the cake?
Our cakes can be kept at room temperature for up to 2 hours. For longer storage, refrigerate at 2–3°C. Before serving, allow the cake to come to room temperature for 15–20 minutes for the best taste and texture. Consume within 2 days for optimal freshness.

  • Delivery available 11 AM – 9:30 PM daily

🛵 Extended Delivery (5–15 km) — ₹15/km

  • Charged at ₹15 per km beyond the 5 km free zone
  • Collected at time of order confirmation
  • Covers most of central and north Bengaluru

📦 Beyond 15 km — Third-Party Delivery

  • We arrange Porter or Dunzo delivery
  • Third-party platform charges apply
  • Please contact us to confirm availability

  • Pickup available at our Thanisandra kitchen anytime during open hours

Refund policy

✅ Order Cancellation

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the delivery date: full refund of advance payment
  • Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% of advance refunded (ingredients already sourced)
  • Cancellations within 4 hours of delivery: no refund (cake already prepared)

⚠️ Quality Issues

  • If the cake arrives damaged due to our error, we will replace or fully refund
  • Photo evidence required within 1 hour of delivery
  • Quality complaints must be raised on WhatsApp immediately on receipt
  • Taste preference is not grounds for a refund (we recommend tasting our signature flavours first)

💳 Refund Process

  • Approved refunds processed within 3–5 business days
  • Refunded to original payment method (UPI/bank transfer)
